NINETY SIX - Robert Herman Boone, 84, resident of 115 Lowell Street, husband of Ruby Weaghington Boone, died May 27, 2002 at his home. Born in Greenwood County, May 9, 1918, he was a son of the late William Marion and Mary Lucretia Ouzts Boone. He was a graduate of Pittsburg School in Greenwood County and was retired from Greenwood Mills - Sloan Plant. A member of Temple Baptist Church and the Men's Bible Class of the Church, he was also a member of the Greenwood Mills Quarter Century Club. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a daughter, Janet B. McNeill of Morrisville NC; a son, Clarence H. Boone of Buffalo NY; two brothers, Harold Boone of Greenwood and Hoyt Boone of Callison; seven grandchildren, Christopher McNeill, Andrea McNeill, Tara McNeill, Shaun Boone, Brandon Boone, Ryan Boone and Dylan Boone. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Bruce Smith, Wayne Boone, Marion Boone, Jerry Boone, Terry Boone, Aubrey Boone, Charles Freeland, Kenneth Boone, Charles Johnson and Don Perry. Blyth Funeral Home
