  Greenwood SC, Nov. 6 [1929] - Funeral for Mrs. Carrie Rodgers, 74, who died at the home of her son, M. T. Clegg, at Modoc Sunday night [November 3, 1929] , after a long illness, were at Mountain Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Rodgers was twice married. Her first husband was J. N. Clegg, who died in 1887, and to this union were born the following children, who survive her: Mrs. J. H. Quattlebaum, North Augusta; Mrs. W. N. Rodgers, Montgomery AL; M. T. Clegg, Modoc, and W. H. Clegg, Ninety Six. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Mattie Lamb, of Aiken, and three brothers, O. O. Timmerman, Trenton; R. E. L. Timmerman, Vadalia GA; G. L. Timmerman, McRae GA. In 1901 she was married to E. A. Rodgers, who died in 1925, and the following step-children survive: W. M. and J. R. Rodgers, Greenwood; C. T., B, H., E. L. and C. C. Rodgers, Callison; Mrs. M. M. Timmerman, Greenville. The State, Thursday, November 7, 1929.
