Edgefield SC - Funeral for Oscar Orlando Timmerman, 90, who died Monday [March 15, 1965] in a Columbia hospital were from Red Oak Grove Baptist church with burial in the church cemetery. He was a retired farmer and lifelong resident of Edgefield County and a member of Red Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was twice married, first to Lizzie Bussey. Surviving this union are one daughter, Mrs. Yates Quarles of Edgefield; one son, Henry Timmerman of Charleston. Surviving his second marriage to Salley Bussey are two sons, Crafton Timmerman of Johnston and Rhett Timmerman of Modoc; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Lamb of Edgefield. Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. The State, Tuesday, March 16, 1965.
