  Jacksonville FL Journal - March 1, 1947 - William Calvin Ouzts, age 72, of Route 9 (unreadable presumably town), passed away early this Saturday morning at his residence. He was a native of Dooley GA and had lived in Jacksonville for the past 39 years. He was a retired car inspector. Surviving are three sons: Ira Ouzts of this city; Byron Ouzts and John B. Ouzts both of Louisville KY; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
  Married at least twice: 1st to Martha "Mattie" Fields by whom he had 3 children: Ira Augustus Ouzts, Byron Ouzts and John B. Ouzts. 2ndly to Mrs. Viola Smith (NFI). His obituary which was in The Florida Times-Union published March 3, 1947, mentions all three children, no surviving wife is mentioned and that he had nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The obituary also says where he was buried. The obituary misspells his last name as OUSTS
