Calhoun Falls SC - Service for Linder Hayes Ouzts, 93, at Jerry Hartley Funeral Home, with burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Abbeville. Mr. Ouzts died Feb. 22, 1992. Born in Ebert County GA, he was a son of the late James W/ and Rosia Burette Ouzts. He was a retired dairy farmer and a member of Calhoun Falls Methodist Church. Surviving are daughters, Betty Brown of Calhoun Falls and Bobbie Carter of Irmo; sons, Amos Ouzts of Calhoun Falls and Eustace Ouzts of Tucson AZ; and a brother, P. S. Ouzts of Winder GA. The State, February 24, 1992.
Mr. Linder Hayes Ouzts, 93, former resident of Calhoun Falls died 23 February 1992 at the Greenbrook Manor, Greenwood SC. Born in Elbert County GA on 25 July 1898 he was a son of the late Mrs. Rosa Anna Burdette Ouzts and the late Mr. James Walton ‘Jimmie’ Ouzts. He was the widower of Mrs. Ruby Mae Cordell Ouzts who died 5 May 1984. A retired Dairy Farmer he was a member of the Calhoun Falls United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Betty [Leroy] Brown of Calhoun Falls and Mrs. Bobbie [Earl] Carter of Irmo; two sons: Mr. Amos Ouzts of Calhoun Falls and Mr. Eustace Ouzts of Tucson AZ; a brother: Mr. Thomas S. Ouzts of Winder GA; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Interment in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Hartley Calhoun Falls Funeral Home.
