  Elizabeth Dorn Smith, daugher of Elizabeth Ouzts and Elijah Andrew Dorn, was born in Old Edgefield near Saluda, October 18,1858, and died April 3, 1949, at her home in the Cambridge section of Greenwood County. She had been in declining health for six years. She had reached the ripe age of 90 years. Among her survivors were listed two sisters: Mrs. W. M. Wingard of Gallivant's Ferry and Mrs. Piercy Lowrey of Walhalla. It is probable that those two sisters were twice married, since those names do not appear among the children of Elizabeth Ouzts and Elijah Dorn. She left eight children, 31 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Graveside in Mt. Herman cemetery. She was a devoted member of the Friendship Pentecostal Church.
