Gladys Ouzts Powell, resident of Edens Gardens, widow of Chrales W. Powell, died February 6, 2005 at Edens Gardens. Born in Greenwood Coutny, September 30, 1918, she was a daughter of the late George Trapp and Effie Lee Polattie Ouzts. She was a graduate of Greenwood HS and Peterson’s Business School in Greenwood. Mrs. Powell was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Powell was the last member of her immediate family. Surviving are a son, C. Kenneth Powell of Columbia and two grandsons, Chad Powell and Matt Powell Powell, both of Columbia. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Blyth Funeral Home.
