Known as Mrs. Betty Timmerman, died in June 1937, at the age of 86 at her home in the McKendree section. She was survived by her husband, N.T. Timmerman, and several nieces and nephews. Furneral services were conducted at McKendree Methodist Church by her pastor, Rev. Foster Speer, and interment was in the adjoining cemetery.
