  "Andrew D. (Ancey) Ouzts, well known resident of Greenwood, died at the home of his son, Charles T. Ouzts, near Johnston, at the age of 62 years. . . He was a kindly gentleman, quiet and unassuming in manner."
  Greenwood, June 21 - Andrew D. (“Yancey”) Ouzts, 62, dies at the home of his son, Charles T. Ouzts, at Johnston, last night. He had been in declining health for some time and was taken critically ill while on a visit. Mr. Ouzts was a son of Peter Ouzts and Julia Timmerman Ouzts and was reared in this county. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida Whatley Ouzts of Kirksey; three daughters, Mrs. J. L. Adams, Mrs. H. E. Sprouse and Mrs. G. G. Wells, Greenwood; two sons, C. T. Ouzts, Johnston, and S. E. Ouzts, Greenwood, and four brothers, J. W. Ouzts, Saluda, M. P. Ouzts, Kirksey, Manley Ouzts, Greenwood, and Nelson Ouzts, Ware Shoals, Funeral at Friendship church. The State June 22, 1937.
