Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of the late Zachary and Idena Ouzts. She was a lifelong resident of Greenwood County and a member of Fridendship Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving are her husband, Marcus H. (Mike) Horne of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Mary Alice) Cowan of Greenwood; two sons, Marcus H. Horne, Jr. and Robert L. Horne of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Harris and Mrs. Ethel Horne of Greenwood and Mary Ouzts of Ninety Six; three brothers, George Wilson Ouzts of Greenwood, Wallace Ouzts of Ninety Six and Eugene Ouzts of Pittsburg Community; three Grandchildren.
