  Mr. Walker L. Dupree, 88, died Feb. 20, 1999, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Burial will be in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Dupree, a native of Americus GA, was a graduate of Georgia State College for Men, Tifton. He had retired from Morgan Truck & Tractor as an accountant after 29 years. He was a 50-year member of the Augusta Lions Club and an International Harvester. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the Louis L. Battery American Legion Post. He was a member of St. John United Methodist Church, where he was chairman of the board of trustees and the administrative board. He was a member of Henry Bible School Class and was the St. John United Methodist Church Sunday school superintendent. Survivors include his wife, Helen Ouzts Dupree; a son, W. Leonard
 Dupree Jr., Mabelton GA; a daughter, Beth Dupree Rashidfarokhi, Marietta GA; a sister, Sara D. Andrews, St. Simons Island GA; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Christopher Dupree, Kevin Collins, Amir Rashidfarokhi, Arman Rashidfarokhi, Joe Andrews and John Ouzts Jr. The Augusta Chronicle, February 22, 1999.
