Son of John Allen and Hazel Ouztes Abercrombie Milton Eugene "Strawberry" Abercrombie, b. 6-13-1950 (was killed in auto accident on Hwy 252 on his way to work on a rainy morning,1-18-1980). Strawberry graduated with the Class of 1970 from Ware Shoals High School. Milton was the catcher for the baseball team. He worked for the SC Department of Transportation at Laurens at the time of his death. He served with the SC National Gaurd at Ware Shoals. He is buried with family at Lickville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 10020 Augusta Rd, Pelzer South Carolina.
