Feb. 18, 1910 -Spartanburg Herald SC - Greenwood, Feb. 18- The funeral of MRS. D.A.G. Ouzts was held here yesterday from The First Baptist Church . The services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Geo. Cowan, assisted by, Elder, J.C. Roper of the Methodist Church. The grade school suspended work yesterday and the teachers and all the pupils of MRS. OUZT'S grade attended in a body as did the trustees of the graded school. She was a member of the local chapter of the Eastern Star , U.D.C., and D.A.R., of which she was an active and enthusiastic worker. After the services the remains were carried to Marshall, Texas, her former home for burial. Her husband, MR. D.A.G. OUZTS was accompanied by Mayor Kennet Baker on the sad journey. MRS. OUZTS was universally loved and esteemed in the community and her death deeply deplored.
