Rock Hill - Mrs. Alma Gladys Broom Ouzts, 54, wife of Robert McDowell Ouzts, died Sunday at York General Hospital. Mrs. Ouzts was born in Chester County, a daughter of the late John Floyd and Edith Bell Broom. She was employed at the Celanese CelRiver plant for 15 years. She was a member of the Clover Rescue Squad Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband; a son, Clifton McDowell Ouzts of Clover; a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Louise Ouzts Johnson of Clover; her stepmother, Mrs. Mary Broom of Winnsboro; five brothers, Isaac Broom and John Floyd Broom of Rock Hill, Gettys Neal Broom of Winnsboro, Robert Stroud Broom of North and Carl Eugene Broom of Edgemoor; and a sister, Mrs. Dollie Broom Haley of Winnsboro. Burial in Fort Lawn SC. Bass Funeral Home.
