Newberry SC, June 3 - Funeral for James B. Ouzts, 63, who died today in a Columbia hospital after several months illness, were at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Johnnie Jones on College street. Interment in Magnolia Cemetery in Greenwood. In addition to Mrs. Jones, he is survived by a son, Jesse J. Ouzts of Fort Jackson, one brother, John Ouzts of Greenwood, a half-brother, Marsh Buzhardt of Callison, three sisters, Mrs. B. H. Lee, Spartanburg, Mrs. M. E. Freeland, Saluda, and Mrs. Lizzie Lindler of Whitmire. The State, June 4, 1941.
