Notes
a. Note:   Ray Gage was called in to the 'Smith Mansion', or 'Whitehaven', many years ago, to rid the front porch columns of bees, since he was the only local professional able to do this. The bees never stung him for some reason.
My grandfather Ray was a gunsmith, he ran a grinder, loader, other things that were dirty, etc. He was the type that always paid cash for everything too. One day after work he stopped at the local car dealership, and walked into the showroom (in his work clothes). Not one salesman came over to talk to him. He hung around a little, looking at the new cars (he was planning on buying a new car), but everyone ignored him. (I do not know what dealership this was). So, he left, and went to the Ford dealership. He walked into their showroom and a young man came over right away to help him. They talked about cars a bit, and the young man showed him the cars. My Grandfather purchased one of the showroom cars from that young man, and pulled out cash to pay for it. From then on, he always bought from the Ford dealership.
