Note: * Obituary * ED TILFORD ROCKPORT, KY. - Ed Tilford, 73, Rockport, died at 5:30 A.M. Thursday at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford. Born in Rockport on April 6, 1890, he was the son of Thomas and Ann Williams Tilford and a member of the Rockport Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Tilford, Rockport, three daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Lacer, Valley Station, Ky., Mrs. Letcher Norvell, Evansville, In., and Mrs. Carl Meyers, Rockport; one brother, Robert Owen Tilford, Louisville; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday at the Rockport Baptist Church by Rev. Richard Delaney, pastor of the Utica Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Robert Beckett, pastor of the Rockport Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Rockport cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The body is at the Cecil Chinn Funeral Home in McHenry. Pallbearers will be Donald Gage, Donald Lacer, Ronald Fowler, Larry Norvell, Henry Meridith and Henry Beck.
