  Cecil Oran Modesitt, 47, died in Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, aft e r an extended illness.
 He was born April 13, 1915 in Wirt county, the son of John S. Modesi t t and Jessie Johnson Modesitt who survvives and resides at Richmond , V a.
 Survivors, includes his widow, Mrs. Thelma Sands Modesitt, four child r en, Deanna, Stanley and Mark Modesitt, and Mrs. Connie Van Camp; a s is ter, Eleanor and two brothers Leonard and Earl Modesitt and one gra ndd aughter.
 Funeral services will be at the Vaughan juneral home, with the Rev. W i lbur Hardin officiating. Burial will be in River View cemetery at Wi ll iamstown, WV.
