Cresencia Abrugar Esplago of San Diego, died at 6:27 p.m., Thursday, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 5, 1930, in Matarinao, Eastern Samar, Philippines, she was the daughter of Egmedio Caadan Abrugar and Anaclita Margo Acosta. She married Alberto Adel Esplago in Samar, Philippines, and he preceded her in death in 1980.
She was a homemaker and a devout Catholic. She emigrated to the United States in 1993. She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Josie (Ralph) Harris, Lena Sargent, Monica Swinehart and Julita Dowdy; 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons; Oscar in 1975 and Emelio in 1983.
