Vernon H. Williams
Vernon H. Williams, 85, Indianapolis, died Monday in Sugar Creek Nursing Home. Mr. Williams was a floral designer for Heidenreich Florist 25 years, retiring in 1968. He then worked for Village Florist 20 years and retired in 1988. He was a member of South port Baptist Church and Allied Florist Association of Indiana. Memorial contribution may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home with calling from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. He was the widower of Sylvia Pearson Williams. Survivors - sons V. Harold, Warren P. Williams; four grandchildren.

INDIANAPOLIS - Vernon H. Williams, 85, Greenfield, and formerly of Indianapolis, died Monday at Sugar Creek Convalescent Center, Greenfield.
Born in Bedford, he was the son of Smith Vernon and Frances (Holtsclaw) Williams. He married Sylvia Pearson and she preceded him in death on Feb. 6, 1991.
He had been a floral designer at Heidenreich Florist for 25 years, retiring in 1968, also at Village Florist for 20 years, retiring in 1988, both of Indianapolis. He was a member of Southport Baptist Church, Allied Florist Association of Indiana, both in Indianapolis. He was associated with the Ron Williams Floral Co. of Bedford, a family owned business.
Survivors include two sons V. Harold Williams of Michigan and Warren P. Williams of Indianapolis, and four grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Chapel, Indianapolis. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood.
