  Phillip Harris Dies at Home
  A retired stone mill employee, Phillip Harris, died at 7 a.m. today at his residence, 2802 I street (Bedford, IN). He had been ill for about a year.
  Mr. Harris was born September 10 1876, in Martin County to John and Susan Spaulding Harris and was married to Ethel Smith, August 19, 1897, at Shoals. He was a member of the Bedford First Baptist Church.
  Surviving are the widow; four sons, Ralph and Glen Harris, both at home; Carl Harris, Portsmouth NH, and Claude Harris, Washington, DC; 12 grandchildren; three half-brothers, Marion and Newton of Odon, Ind and Henry Harris, Missouri; and one half-sister, Mrs Hannah Taylor of Bedford. A son, Ivan, and an infant daughter, May preceded him in death.
  Rites will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sherwood & Ferguson Funeral Home with Rev. A. N. Corpening officiating. Place of interment will be the Green Hill Cemetery.
  Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday.

  Phillip Harris Rites are Held
  Services for Phillip Harris, 2802 I street, who died Thursday were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Sherwood & Ferguson Funeral Home by Rev. Albert N. Corpening
  Margaret Severaid sang "Sometime We'll Understand" and "In the Garden" with Gene Johnston at the chapel organ.
  Pallbears were William Jennings, William Egan, Herman Harris, Jack Cox, Edmund Fields and Lew Ikerd.
  Interment was in the Green Hill Cemetery.
