Wayne E. Harris, 60, 2030 30th St., Bedford, died at 4:26 a.m. today at Dunn Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 9, 1928, in Bedford, to Ralph and Doris Williams Harris. He married Janet Sue Tincher March 12, 1960, and she survives.
He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving with the wife are his mother of Bedford; two sons: James Harris, Indianapolis, and Robert Harris, Las Vegas, Nev.; one daughter Annetta Harris, at home; two sisters Mildred Smith, Owensburg, and Rosalie Terry, Bedford, and two brothers: Smith Harris, Bedford, and George Harris, Williams.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Harris.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Day & Carter Mortuary, the Rev. Donald Wicklman officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery with graveside military rites accorded by members of Gillen Post 33, American Legion.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. Thursday until the service.
