Ballengee
Mr. Harold Eugene Ballengee Sr., age 77, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2006. He was born on June 10, 1928 in West Virginia to the late John and Margaret Ballengee. He was a retired brick mason and was an Army and Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his sons, Donald Smith and Harold Ballengee Jr.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Martha S. Ballengee; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Debra Ballengee of Dallas; his daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and David Smith Sr. of Hampstead, N.C., Laura and Henry Woodall of Dallas and Debbie and Billy Banks Jr. of Pickens, S.C.; a brother, John E. Ballengee of Mississippi; a sister, Marie Lester of Mullins, W.V.; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN with Mr. David Smith Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
