Nettie Holsclaw Rites Announced
Graveside services in Hopewell cemetery at 11:30 a.m. CST Saturday will follow the funeral of Mrs. Nettie Holsclaw, which will be in the Dowd Funeral home at North Vernon at 10 a.m.
Mrs. Holsclaw died Wednesday evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. Pearle Kane, R. R. 5, North Vernon. A former resident of Franklin, Mrs. Holsclaw had made her home with her sister for almost a year.
She was born 91 years ago in North Madison, the daughter of William and Augustine Dow Stewart. Her husband, Ezra B. Holsclaw, died in Franklin in 1945.
Survivors are Mrs. Kane, a brother, Robert Stewart of Winter Haven, Fla.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Homer Bullard of North Vernon and Mrs. Oliver Miller of Indianapolis; and one stepson, Smith Holsclaw of Mooresville.
