  MRS. SAMUEL McDOWELL
  The funeral service for Mrs. Donu Ellen McDowell will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at her home in East Washington avenue. Rev. E.R. Stevens, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. The interment will be made in Hill Grove Cemetery.
  Mrs. McDowell was born in Hinton, W. Va., December 18, 1861, and had resided in Connellsvill for 26 years. She was twice married, her first marriage being to Caleb Allen of Hinton. To this union the following children survied: Elbert Allen of Hinton, W.H Allen, J.A. Allen and Mrs. Frank Farrell, all of connellsville. Mrs. E.H. Harper of Huntington, W. Va., and C.H. Allen of Hyndman. Her second husband, S. G. McDowell, three daughters, Mrs. F.E. Ducker of Connellsville, Mrs. Bert Bryner of Huntington W. Va., and Miss Myrtle Mc Dowell children of the second unto also survive. Mrs. McDowell was ill eight months.

  Mrs. Samuel McDowell, well-known resident of Connellsville, died Saturday moning at her home in East Washington avenue. She had been in poor health for some time past. Mrs. McDowell was twice married, and had been a resident of Connellsville for about 26 years. Her husband and the following children survive: Mrs. W. L. Allen, South Connellsville; J. W. Allen, Reidmore; Mrs Alice Harper, Huntington, W. Va.; Mrs F. E. Ducker and Mrs. Frank Farrell, both of Connellsville; Albert Allen, Hinton, Pa., and Charles Allen, Hyndman.
