  SOUTH BEND - Friends of Frances E. Buckland may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home & Crematory and one hour before the funeral service, which is at 11 a.m. Monday at Little Pine Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Thomas J. Clark will officiate, followed by burial at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen.
  Mrs. Buckland, 74, of 515 Monroe St., formerly of Elkhart, died at 9:35 a.m. Thursday (April 27, 2000) at Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Tennessee.
  She was born in Lillybrook, W.Va., the daughter of Claude D. and Nellie B. (Allen) Buckland, and married Robert H. Buckland on March 29, 1941, in Christiansburg, Va. He died Dec. 4, 1975.
  Surviving are one son, David of Elkhart; two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Lola) Syson-Horvath of South Bend and Betty Rogers of Hollowrock, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. One brother and a sister are deceased.
  Mrs. Buckland was a homemaker and a member of Little Pine Church of the Brethren.
  Memorial may be given to the American Heart Association.
