  Mrs. Hattie Wikel Dies In Hospital
  JUMPING BRANCH, Nov. 21 - Mrs. Hattie Wikel, 59, of Jumping Branch, wife of Russell Wikel, died Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the C and O hospital, Clifton Forge, Va. after an extended illness.
  She was born at Elk Knob section near Judson Sept. 20, 1892, the daughter of the late John J. and Martha Susan Miller Buckland. She had lived most of her life in Summers county, and was a member of the Elk Knob Baptist church.
  In addition to her husband, she is survived by three step sons: Lynn, of Judson; Jerman, Jumping Branch; and Ray, of Cleveland, Ohio; four brothers; Lonnie W. Buckland, Bellepoint; James Buckland, of Blue Sulphur; Ivan Buckland of Quinwood; Lawrence, of Marie; four sisters; Mrs. J. W. Harrison, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. J. E. Ballengee, Danese; Mrs. B. Goode, of Mullens; and Mrs. Pat Duffy, of Judson.
  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Elk Knob Baptist church by the Rev. W. M. Wills. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
  The body will be removed from the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlor in Hinton to the residence Thursday.
