WILLIAM HARRIS DEAD.
William Harris, a well-known citizen of this place died from complications of typhoid and pneumonia fever Monday afternoon, after only nine days illness.
Mr. Harris was born in Brown township, Martin County, Feb 28, 1871. On March 4, 1894 he was married to Hettie James and to this union two children were born, one of whom is living. He moved to Odon from Elmore township about four years ago, buying the Wm. Sims' property in the East end. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. and Rebekah Lodges of this place which attended the funeral in body. He was 36 years of age. A wife and eleven year old daughter and several brothers and sisters survive him.
The funeral services were held at the home at 9:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, Eld C. H. Buchanan in charge. Burial in Concord cemetery.
