  Norman Buckland
  Services for Norman Edward Buckland, 83, White Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Shanklin Funeral Home Chapel at White Sulphur Springs with the Rev. Douglas N. Shepherd in charge. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
  Buckland died Sunday morning at his home after a long illness.
  Among his survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Effie Allen, Coal City and Mrs. Esta Bailey, Pineville.
  Born in Summers County, Sept. 29, 1882, he was a son of the late Richard Pembrook and Eliza Cox Buckland.
  He was a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church and was a retired Carpenter. (RNS)
