REASON HARRIS TAKEN BY DEATH WEDNES. NIGHT
FUNERAL FRIDAY AFTERNOON AT POINDEXTER'S IN ODON
Odon, Ind., May 11 - Reason Harris, 80, died at his home in Madison township near Odon, last night at 8:30 following a two weeks serious illness of complications. He was a member of the Boggs Creek Baptist Church.
He was born September 25, 1863, in Martin county, his parents being John and Susan (Spaulding) Harris. In 1890 he married Hattie Woodruff who survives, together with one son Roy of Van Buren township. Two other children are deceased.
Surviving brothers and sisters are: Hannah Taylor and Lizzie Parris of Bedford, Mennie Turpin of Linton and Phil Harris of Bedford. Half-brothers are Marion of Odon, Newt of Montgomery and Henry Harris of Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at the Poindexter Chapel in Odon on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., Rev. Charles Buchanan in charge. Burial will follow in Concord cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the residence where the body was removed this afternoon.
