Funeral of W. E. Holsclaw.
The funeral of the late Wm. E. Holsclaw, whose sudden death occurred Saturday, a few minutes after noon was held from the home at 150 North Walnut street at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by Dr. H. P. Klyver.
The home was crowded by relatives and friends of the deceased, all whom deeply and sincerely mourned his unexpected death. A beautiful floral tribute from the Modern Woodmen lodge, depicting the emblem of that order was among the many floral remembrances.
Music was furnished by a quartette, consisting of Mrs. W. B. House, Miss Cordelia Clark, Prof. F. W. Clark and J. W. Balser. The casket bearers were: E. E. Jeffery, C. W. Neal, Wm. Jolly, Charles Farmer, J. A. LaGrange and Henry Huffman of the M. W. A. lodge.
Those that were here to attend the funeral services from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Smith Williams and daughter, Lois, of Bedford, Miss Bertha and Harry Holsclaw, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Holsclaw of North Vernon, Ezra Holsclaw of Ritchey, Ill., and Edward Carson of Seymour.
