Bertha Searles
Mrs. Bertha A. Searles, 79 of 1230 Monitor, died in a local nursing home Thursday following a sudden illness.
Mrs Searles was born Dec. 13, 1882, in North Vernon, Ind., and married Herbert A. Searles March 22, 1922. The moved to Spokane in 1923 and came to the Wenatchee Valley in 1941.
Mrs Searles was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Robert A. Searles, Wenatchee, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1961.
Betts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MRS. BERTHA A SEARLES
Services will be conducted at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in the new Memorial Chapel of the Betts Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert O Schulze officiating. Interment will follow in the Wenatchee Cemetery. Betts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
