ODON RESIDENT DIES FOLLOWING BRIEF ILLNESS
Mrs. Hattie Harris, 71, Mother of Woman Who Died Wednesday
Odon, Ind., April 9 - Mrs. Hattie Harris, 71, widow of the late William Harris of Odon, died last night at 10:35 o'clock, following a week's illness of pneumonia and complications.
Mrs. Harris was mother of Mrs. Jeanne Donaldson, 40, who died in the same home early Wednesday morning after a long illness.
Double funeral services for the mother and daughter are to be held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the residence in Odon, with Rev. Harley Green, of Elnora, officiating. Burial will be made in Concord Cemetery. Huette Poindexter & Sons will have charge of the funeral.
The only survivor of Mrs. Harris is a sister, Mrs. Jennie Marshall, of Gerard, Ill., her husband and children having all preceded her in death.
The deceased was born 71 years ago, a daughter of John and Delilah (Wilson) James and married Mr. Harris about 45 years ago. He has been dead a number of years.

A double funeral service was held at the Methodist Church in this city Sunday afternoon over the bodies of Mrs. Ruby Donaldson and Mrs. Hettie Harris who died within a few hours of each other.
Mrs Harris who died Thursday was a daughter of John and Delia Wilson and was past 71 years of age at the time of her death. Her husband, William Harris died several years ago. Mrs. Donaldson died Wednesday.
the funeral service was in charge of the Rev. Harley Green of Elnora. Burial was made at Concord cemetery.
