Lois Buckland, 82,
Loving Mother and Grandmother
JENKINTOWN, Pa. -- Lois Buckland, 82, died Saturday (July 8, 2006) at Chambersburg Hospital in Chambersburg, Pa. Born in Plainfield, she lived in Fanwood for 49 years before moving to Jenkintown in 2004.
Mrs. Buckland was a member of Roxborough Bible Chapel in Philadelphia and a former member of the Sea Explorers Ship No. 71 in Fanwood.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Buckland, who died in 1989.
Surviving are two daughters, Alice Marie Buckland of Philadelphia and Carol Ann Buckland of Jenkintown; two sons, Robert John Buckland and William Gordon Buckland, both of Scotch Plains; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
