Ada Benson Spencer
Ada Benson Spencer, 81, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1995 at her home in Sunny Valley.
Services and burial will be at the Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery in Hinton, W.Va. Slawsons Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on July 21, 1914, in Hinton, W.Va. She moved to Grants Pass in June of this year from Dallas to be with her daughter, Ruth Dillard.
Survivors include two sons, William E. Cox of Anchorage, Alaska and Mark W. Cox of Mesquite, Texas; two daughters, Ruth Dillard of Sunny Valley and Darla Wilson of Dallas; a sister, Marie Pack of Bell, Texas; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William E. Cox and a second husband, Alvis Spencer.
