C., formerly of Hinton died at her home Monday morning after a brief illness. She was born at Hinton Dec. 6, 1918, a daughter of Robert Buckland and the late Bertha Buckland. Survivors include her husband, Howard; five daughters, Mrs. Barbara Harris of Bedford, Ind., and Mrs. Delores Defibaugh of Washington, D. C., and Wilma Jean, Linda and Joan, all at home; three sons, Edgar, stationed with the Navy in California, and Jerry and Richard, both at home; three sisters, Mrs. Marie Pack and Mrs. Ada Cox, both of El Paso, Texas and Mrs. Elsie Johnson of Radford, Va., four brothers, Isaac and Robert, both of El Paso, Sam, Crab Orchard and Gordon Buckland of New Jersey; and five grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in the Chamber's Funeral Home at Washington, D. C., and burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. *** Buried in Section 38, Grave 4177-38.
