MRS. RAGLE DIES AT BURNS CITY
Mrs. Hattie (Harris) Ragle, 84, Burns City, passed away at her home at 10 p.m. Monday after an illness of two years. She had been seriously ill for two weeks.
Mrs. Ragle was born in Texas on February 15, 1874, the daughter of Lilbern and Melinda (Ketchem) Woodruff. She married Amos Ragle on July 1, 1947, and her preceded her in death on April 4, 1955. She was a member of the Odon Methodist Church and was educated in the Daviess County Schools.
Surviving is a son, Roy Harris, of Odon, and two brothers Cass Woodruff and Art Woodruff, both of Elnora. There are three grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great - great - grandchildren. Two children, two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Odon Methodist Church with Rev. Mahan assisted by the Rev. Hedden officiating. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Poindexter Funeral Home in Odon after 6 p.m. today.
the casket will be taken from the funeral home to the church at 12:30 p.m. Thursday where friends may pay their last respects.
