Note: May 20, 1935 to the late Curtis and Beatrice Eley. A proud Huntington High School graduate, "Bea" as she was fondly known to those close to her, remained active in the class of 1953 alumni group until the end. She married the love of her life, the late E. B. Moore, Sr. in 1954 and moved to Hampton in 1962. Together they raised a beautiful family including five daughters, Roberta Bowers Matthew (Charles), Vera Moore Jones (Willie), Kathy Moore Wilson (predeceased), Terry Moore Morris (Kenneth) and Sherre Moore Cassells (Jonathan), all of Hampton; and one son, E.B. Moore Jr., also of Hampton. Bea leaves two sisters, Oretha Eley Allmond of Smithfield, Pauline Eley Tucker (Floyd) of Hampton and one brother Curtis Cephus Eley of Windsor; three sisters in law, Cora Moore Gresham, Shirley Moore Carr (Randolph) and Margaret Moore of Newport News; four grandsons, Willie Burk Jones III (Amanda) of Charlotte, N.C., Darrell E.B. Moore Jones of Chesapeake, Terrence Moore Morris of Richmond and Justin Powell Cassells of Hampton; five granddaughters, Kendra Morris Shivers (Lewis) of Newport News, Jessica Wilson Duren (Dwight) of Portsmouth, Indi Wilson Dickens (Maceo) of Newport News, Keren Elizabeth-Roberta Matthew, and Lyndsay Wilson Rogers (DarYvon), of Hampton. She made a lifetime dedication to Jehovah by water baptism in 1964 in Hampton, VA. Funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, December 12, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 717 E. Little Back River Road, Hampton, with interment in Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton. On the day of service, assemble by 11 a.m. at 1109 Bethel Ave., Hampton. The family will receive friends for viewing and visitation from 4:30 pm to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 11 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 717 E. Little Back River Road.
