  The Horsham Times of 31 Dec 1907 reported -
 Railway Accident at Jung - On Monday last an accident happened to Guard Lathlean at Jung Jung. Lathlean was in charge of a water train, and while shunting operations were being carried on he was struck on the back of the head by a water standpipe and hurled to the ground. When picked up the injured man was unconscious and was immediately taken back to Murtoa, where Dr. Loughran found him to be suffering from a severe scalp wound and shock, though fortunately no bones were broken. The injured man is progressing favorably.
