  She had a major heart attack 29 JAN 2003.
 She married Elmer (Junior) TODD 11 July 1986. The marriage was annulled in 1987.

 - rex drafted into army
 - went in 9 months after married
 - zola living in country at parents store when rex got out of army
 - he was furloughed before he went overseas
 - farmed some after army
 - went to CA after army
 - farmed for a guy in CA on a ranch
 - tommy was almost 5 when they moved back to OK
 - bought land from charles paynes dad (real estate agent)
 - zola worked in BA school cafeteria
 - he drove a truck for c.e.natco until had heart attack at age 50
 - worked at gate until he had another h.a. at age 55 and retired
 - gun accident happened 10 months before he died.
 - he told zola days before he died that there was green grass in the field
 - he fed to rabbits and they "just loved it"
 - he had picked a big bucket of grass before he died
 - gun was set on little table by phone and when he turned around it started to tip over. he reached for it and it hit the floor, going off and destroying the left side of his face
 - he was set to have rib bone transplanted to jawbone / he had clothes out on coffee table to go to dr. day he died

  Coweta- Zola Mae Brown, 87, retired Ajax Die Cast machinist, died Monday in Tulsa. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and service 2 p.m. Wednesday, both at Wright-Brown Funeral Home Chapel. (Tulsa World)

 Zola Mae Brown of Coweta, age 87, a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday morning, July 9, 2012 at MapleWood Care Center in Tulsa, OK. Zola was born December 5, 1924 in Coweta, OK and was the daughter of Thomas Edgar and Ardele Elmarle "Tillie" (Snelson) Gilbert. Zola and Rex Vue Brown were united in marriage on January 24, 1942 in Wagoner, OK until he preceded her in death on March 11, 1981. Zola worked as a machinist at Ajax Die Casting in Broken Arrow for 20 years until she decided to retire in 1986. She attended Liberty Baptist Church in Broken Arrow as long as her health permitted. Zola enjoyed doing volunteer work and going to garage sales.
  * Zola was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two daughters, three sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren.
  The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, July 10, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Funeral services for Zola are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Wright-Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Coweta with Pastor Joey Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery.
  The family of Zola Mae Brown entrusted her care and services to Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home, 210 S. Broadway, Coweta, OK 74429, 918-486-5515.
