She was raised a Baptist but became an Episcopalian upon her marriage to my father who was an Episcopal Priest.
When the Episcopal Diocese of Boston shut down and sold the congregation's church building in 2010, Cathy and the other members of St. Alban's Episcopal Church rented space at the nearby Bethany Congregational Church where they continued to conduct their Episcopal church services.
Cathy's funeral service was conducted by the Reverand Evan Mwangi, an Episcopal Priest. He was her pastor and a great friend of the family. Readings where done by Jonathan Gray and Timothy Etzel, two of her grandchildren. Her daughter, Debbie Gray, also spoke. Hymns sung were "Amazing Grace", "In The Garden", and "How Great Thou Art".
