 mariner. They lived in England; Boston; Bath, Maine, and finally Providence, Rhode Island.
 They had 13 children in 28 years.
 According to his Civil War military records, he was a seaman who enlisted on Aug 19 1864. He
 was 5' 4.5" tall, had dark hazel eyes, with dark hair and complexion, and had 2 scars near his
 left shoulder.
 The Livingstone family bible with listed marriages, births, and many deaths is currently housed
 with Kate (Grenier) Gilbert.
