Note: Obituary: "GEORGE W. STOGIE, 86, RETIRED FARMER, DIES MONDAY AFTERNOON "George William Stogie, 86, passed away at his home 4 1/2 mils northwest of Galion Monday afternoon at 4:40 o'clock following a paralytic stroke. He had been ill five weeks. "Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the later home with continues services at the Emanuel Reformed Windfall Church of which the deceased was a member at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Windfall Cemetery in charge of the Snyder funeral home. Friends may view the remains at the late home. Please omit flowers. "Mr. Stogie has lived in the Windfall vicinity all his life. He was born in Crawford County May 21, 1854, the son of William and Elizabeth Rheimheu Stogie. He was united in marriage May 30, 1876 in Bucyrus to Elizabeth Eusey who survives together with one son and two daughters, Charles Stogie of of near Galion, Mrs. Clara Shumaker of this city and Mrs Mae Davis of Tiro. One son Samuel Lee Stogie died in infancy. One brother Henry Stogie is also deceased. "Pallbearers were: Lawrence Stogie, Paul Shumaker, George Imhoff, Kenmore Imhoff, Lee Imhoff, Harold Stogie."
