Notes
a. Note:   Fred K. Armstrong: "He was a tailor by trade and [his sister, Mary E. (Phillips) Ketchum] made custom vests for him as a young widow. He was a verstryman of Christ Episcopalian Church, Manlius, N.Y. in the 1840s and 50s, as shown by church records. Henry B. married Mary Jane Jackson (sic), who was Peter Wormwood's first wife's sister. They had four children. ..." (additional information compiled into this family tree)
Tombstone inscriptions give death dates and ages for Henry B. and his wife. Secondary sources name six children (Louisa J., Charles Henry, infant, J. Warren, Julius and Siulas), and also state that Mary Jane was the "third of five daughters born to Almerian Janes & Polly Fay."
Other tombstone inscriptions and secondary research confirms that Alphleda (Janes), sister of Mrs. Mary Jane (Janes) Phillips, was indeed the wife of Peter Wormwood, as Fred K. Armstrong noted (however, he erroneously stated the surname was Jackson instead of Janes).
For information on the janes family, see:
"History of the Janes-Peek Family (From Grandma's Little Trunk)" (1975), with updates, by Dr. Reba Neighbors Collins, Edmond, OK. (cited by Warren Forsyth at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=janes&id=I751)
He apparently married second to a woman named Sarah.
