Continued: Old family notes indicate she was born or lived in Moss, England. There is a place called "Brown Moss" in Kirhkam Parish, Lancashire. Another Moss is located considerably east in Campsall Parish, north of Doncaster in South Yorkshire. Family stories indicate that her name was "Ann Fischer" and she and her first husband "Richard" Blako had two sons: Richard and Robert. Her husband died and she married second a Mr. Brinning, by whom she had two daughters, Agatha and Ann, and two sons , James and Elick. Other researchers indicate more children by the second marriage. Two girls named Ann Fisher were baptized in Lytham Parish: one on 13 Dec 1753 (who very likely died in childhood), and the other on 25 Oct 1758, both daughters of George Fisher and his wife Margaret. Other possibilities in this area of Lancashire: Ann Fisher, dau of Henry & Elizabeth, baptized 12 Feb 1748 or 1749 in Kirkham Parish. Ann Fisher, dau of Henry & Elizabeth, baptized 12 Dec 1751 in Kirkham Parish. Ann Fisher, dau of Robert & Alice, baptized 21 Jan 1753 in Kirkham Parish. Ann Fisher, dau of Thomas & Ruth, baptized 5 Oct 1755 in Kirkham Parish. Ann Fisher, dau of William & Margaret, baptized 24 Jun 1764 in Kirkham Parish. Ann Fisher, dau of John & Margaret, baptized 21 Feb 1771 in Kirkham Parish. Ann Fisher, dau of John and Margaret, baptized 5 Apr 1773 in Kirkham Parish. Ann Fisher, dau James, baptized 27 Jun 1750 at St. Chad in in Poulton-le-Fylde Parish. Ann Fisher, dau Matthew, baptized 26 Jan 1763 at St. Chad in in Poulton-le-Fylde Parish. Ann Fisher, dau. James, baptized 16 Oct 1768 at St. Mary in Lancaster Parish. Ann Fisher, dau of Thos, baptized 8 Jul 1771 at St. Mary in Lancaster Parish. Ann Fisher, dau Matthew, baptized 26 Jan 1763 at St. Paul in Martin Parish. Ann Fisher, dau James, paptized 19 Sep 1773 in St. Michael-on-Wyre Parish. However, as noted below, her name was more likley Mary "Molly" Fisher. At least a dozen girls named Mary Fisher were born in Lancashire between 1765 and 1775. The most promising candidate is: Molley Fisher, daughter of Matthew Fisher, baptized 9 December 1768 in Poulton le Fylde, Lancashire. She is no doubt the same Molley Fisher, daughter of Matthew, who was also baptized on 7 December at St Paul's Church in Marton, Lancashire. **** No marriage record has been located for a Richard Blacow and a woman named Ann Fisher (name variations considered). However, Robert Blacow (or Blackow) married Mary Fisher on 17 June 1789 in Poulton le Fylde, Lancashire. They may well be the ancestors. Robert died in 1798. Searching for her second marriage, Mary Blacow married Richard Bryning on 27 May 1800 in Poulton le Fylde, Lancashire. They apparently had the following children (all recorded as children of Richard and Mary -- Richard and "Molly" for Alice): Alice Bryning, born or baptized 12 February 1801 in Poulton le Fylde James Brining, born 18 December 1813, baptized 23 January 1814 in Garstang James Bryning, baptized 27 July 1828 or 3 Aug 1828 in Poulton le Fylde Jas. Bryning, baptized 3 August 1828 in Marton Alexander Brining, born 23 Feb 1819, baptized 30 January 1820 in Garstang Alexander Bryning, baptized 4 March 1819 in Poulton le Fylde Alexander Bryning, baptized 3 August 1828 in Marton Richard Bryning, baptized 27 July 1828 in Poulton le Fylde Richd. Bryning, baptized 27 July 1828 Marton
