  In 1841 Philip Piggott Wheaton, a Butcher was living in Back Lane in Chatteris with an Ann Green who he married in 1847, giving his father's name as Philip. Although we cannot find a baptism for Philip Piggott Wheaton, given his middle name, his occupation, his father's name, where he lived, and the fact that Philip senior had a son of the same name, we are certain that Philip Piggott Wheaton is that son. The only clue as to when he was born is that at the time of his death in 1850 his age was given as 48, which suggests he was born in 1802.
