Notes
a. Note:   815. Her obituary states that she was 18 at the time. The Ship's passenger list states she was 17 years old. Hence, she was born either in 1797 or 1798--probably the latter.
She married Archibald McRae in 1818, after a romance on the Eliza. They first lived in West Hawkesbury and moved to East Hawkesbury. She also went with her younger children to Victory County and then to Stormount with a younger son. She died at the home of her daughter in Cotton Beaver, Kenyon Twp. Glengarry, Ontario in 1896, aged about 98 years.
Catherine "Ann" (McCrimmon) McRae died the 12th day (month?) 1896.
  Dianne Childs shared this obituary:
"We are this week called upon to chronicle the death of another landmark in the person of the late Ann McCrimmon, relict of the late Archibald McRae, which sad event took place on the 12th inst., at the residence of her son-in- law, Mr. D. R. McLeod, 7, 9th, Kenyon. The deceased eimigrated to Canada in 1815, being then 18 years of age. Three years later she married the late Mr. Archibald McRae, who, by the way, had come out on the same ship. They had eleven of a family, six boys and five girls, nine of whom are still living, Sixty-five grand children and thirty seven great grand children, added make in all one hundred and thirteen descendants. The deceased lady, though confined to her room for upwards of five years, held her natural faculties to the last and with Christian resignation looked forward to reaching a happy home above."
This is Dianne Childs' line, <wchilds@@sympatico.ca>. She descends from John Archibald McRae (1826-1904).
Note:   She emigrated to Canada aboard the Eliza with parents and siblings in 1
