Note: metery near Aberdeen (between McCrimmon's Corner and Vankleek Hill), whcih is not far east of the old John McCrimmon farm on Ridge Rd.. Archibald's brother, Farquhar, is also buried there. The cemetery record shows Archibald died Sept. 15, 1900, aged 79 years. His wife is noted as Maggie Campbell, died Aug. 23, 1909, aged 81 years. Also buried in the same plot:
Benjamin McCrimmon, d. march 25, 1900, aged 47 years [hence b. abt. 1853; probably a son of Archibald]
Duncan McCrimmon, d. March 25, 1900, aged 13 years [perhaps a son of Benjamin]
Sarah McCrimmon, d. Sept. 7 1894, aged 35 years [perhaps Benjamin's wife or sister]
There was an Archibald McCrimmon who married, 30 Dec 1851 in Ontario, Elizabeth McKillican. Elizabeth b. c1832. Elizabeth, age 20 next birthday, wife of Archibald. (Mar 1852 Census of West Hawkesbury, living with his parents).
An Archibald McCrimmon was living in Ontario in 1850, aged 27 years.
