a. Continued:   Family notes passed along to me claim that Lady Elizabeth Blezzard was born in England, daughter of Lord John Blezzard.
  Other notes indicate that she was a lady, born in England, and her brother was Lord John Buzzard.
  She married Amos Knapp, likely in Canada. They removed to Michigan about 1836 or 1837.
  It is believed that Elizabeth died when her daughter, Almira, was 14, so in late 1843 or 1844. She died in Michigan, possibly at Muskegon.
  Greg Lampman (who may be distantly related) has found a photograph of an Eliza Knapp who was thought to be about the right age to be this Elizabeth, and may have lived in Winona, Minn. However, Greg found that the photo is of another Eliza Knapp, who was aged 61 when the photo was taken about 1870.
