Died of a heart attack while walking near his mountain cabin near Butte Meadows.

Consent to the marriage was given by Emmett Coon, father of the groom, and Mrs. Flora Hiatt, mother of the bride." Postcard sent to Mr. Emmett Coon, RFD 2, Bx #111, Chico, Calif. Aprill 16, 1915 Dear father, We arrived at Oroville at 10:20 and were married at 11:45. We made it fine and dandy We were out to see Millie & Otto? yesterday afternoon. There is not much doing here.
